Privacy policy

Where our listings come from Skip Hire Compare (skiphirecompare.co.uk) lists skip hire and waste companies, along with grab & aggregate hire and rubbish removal firms, using information compiled from publicly available Google Maps data — including ratings and reviews. We do not collect this content directly from the businesses. If your company wants a listing corrected or removed, email [email protected] and we'll sort it out.

Browsing this site You don't need to submit any personal information to use this website — there are no sign-up forms. That said, your browser automatically passes on standard technical data to our server whenever you request a page, such as your IP address, browser type, and the page viewed, and this is kept in our server logs.

Cookies and advertising This site may use cookies for analytics and advertising purposes. Advertising partners, potentially including Google, may use cookies to display adverts based on a visitor's interests. You can opt out of this personalised advertising at myadcenter.google.com.

Your data protection rights The UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 give you rights to access, correct and request erasure of personal data we hold about you, and to object to its processing. If you're unhappy with how a request has been dealt with, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Links to third-party sites We link to the individual websites of listed skip hire and waste companies, and to Google Maps. These sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control and are not responsible for.
