FDS Grab Hire

Householders laying driveways and contractors needing groundwork materials in and around Ely describe FDS Grab Hire as a supplier that consistently delivers on its promises. A recurring theme across feedback is the swift turnaround on aggregate orders, with topsoil, ballast, pea shingle, gravel and Type 1 arriving within hours rather than days, and muckaway collections carried out promptly.

Reviewers frequently praise the drivers, noting that materials are placed precisely where requested and that vehicles are manoeuvred carefully to avoid damaging drive edges. The office team receives similar credit, with Charley named for taking an order in a friendly manner and Franco thanked for overseeing projects. Customers value prices they consider fair, polite and capable staff, and a willingness to help whenever asked. The firm is also described as able to handle every part of a job, from supplying railway sleepers to coordinating aggregate deliveries and removing spoil.

Repeat business is common, with one customer reporting that six tonnes arrived within two hours, and another noting that a same-day delivery saved a bank holiday project after other suppliers quoted much longer waits. Domestic drives, building sites and landscaping work all feature, and the feedback centres on dependable service, careful handling and a team that goes the extra mile.
