What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Birmingham Materials Recycling Facility holds a 3.8 rating from 1335 reviews. Many reviewers praise the crews for punctual, efficient and polite furniture and waste collections, with several noting the vans were clean and the site left tidy afterwards.
However, a genuine minority of reviews describe problems such as last-minute rescheduling, unexpected extra charges, damage to property during removal, and concerns about work being subcontracted to local operators with unclear accountability. Overall, satisfaction is mixed, with the lower rating reflecting these recurring service and communication issues alongside a larger body of positive experiences.

Man with a van, Northampton. Avoid. Very dangerous driving. Could have easily caused an accident because wreckless driver is in a rush
Very good service, all work done quickly and efficiently, driver on time.
The team did a great job removing my sofa. They arrived as scheduled and were professional and efficient. Booking the pick-up was really straightforward. Thanks so much!
There’s a reason they don’t make their phone number easily available. It would seem, maybe unless you’re local to them, they sub contact to the work to a company local to you then add on a fee. If things go wrong they distance themselves completely from the issue. Save yourself money and go direct to a firm local to you that will undoubtedly be more reliable and definitely cheaper than these guys.
The team who removed my old sofa for disposal were excellent and went above and beyond in get the sofa out of a very restricted location.
